This list includes several American schools as well as a few from Canada. Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) scores are an indicator of the competitiveness of the business school and its difficulty of admission. All of the best business schools have GMAT scores hovering at 700 or above while others have lower scores but make up for it in diversity and equal enrollment of men and women.

The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania is well known for its academic programs and established alumni. The average GMAT score at Wharton is 713.
Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management is the reigning business school in the American Midwest. Its average GMAT scores are a bit lower than Wharton’s but its average salary earnings after a few years sits around $100,000.00, same as the rest of the top schools on the list.
Columbia University’s Business School, located in Manhattan, the bustling center of American finance, is one of the best in the game. ’s average GMAT score is 709.
The Booth School of Business at the University of Chicago is one of the best business schools in the United States, or the world for that matter, and is an quiet-as-its-kept jewel located in the American Midwest. The University of Chicago may be a small liberal arts college, but there is nothing diminutive about this business school powerhouse.
Massachusetts’s Institute of Technology is known worldwide for its math, science and engineering programs but its Sloan School of Management can hold its own against any other school on this list.
The Richard Ivey School at the University of Western Ontario is a leader is Canadian business education. While it’s GMAT scores fall outside the range of the other on this list, its value is as a commercial leader for businessmen and women alike in North America.
